Mobile Apps 4 Charity is proud to announce the addition of Challenger Center to the Initiative. Challenger Center engages students and teachers in dynamic, hands-on exploration and discovery opportunities that strengthen knowledge in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), inspire students to pursue careers in these fields, and provide an outlet to learn and apply important life skills.
Volunteers for the Mobile Apps 4 Charity Initiative will help develop an app that Challenger Center will be able to use in their Challenger Learning Centers, which gives students the chance to become astronauts and engineers and solve real-world problems as they share they thrill of discovery through the Solar System.
The Mobile Apps 4 Charity Initiative will launch at TechEd on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 7:30-9:30PM at the Venetian Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas. Attendees will learn about all opportunities to get involved in this initiative. People can donate technical skills, innovation or testing time. Effort levels can vary from core team support through to peripheral support, depending on your time availability – everything helps!
